The Mark Of The Beast & The Mark Of God Relating To David & Goliath

Bible Opened To Book Of Revelation 900x506

A lot of people have heard about the mark of the beast and some have heard about the mark of God in the book of Revelation. How does the mark of the beast and the mark of God relate to David and Goliath in the Bible?

Before David encountered Goliath, God chose and anointed David. God marked David and the Spirit of God came upon David from that day forward. Goliath on the other hand was marked by the beast and wore the number of the beast. Goliath was six cubits in height, wore/had six pieces of armor or equipment, and the spearhead weighed six hundred shekels of iron. In other words “666” or “six hundred and sixty six”. This battle between David and Goliath was a battle to the death because the two were enmity to each other.

  • Revelation 13:16-18 (KJV) And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
  • 1 Samuel 17:4-7 (KJV) And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. 5 And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass. 6 And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders. 7 And the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam; and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
  • Revelation 22:3-4 (KJV) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
  • 1 Samuel 16:3 (KJV) And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
  • 1 Samuel 16:12-13 (KJV) And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

Goliath took after the beast. David was chosen by God and the Holy Spirit came upon him. This is just a brief summary of what we are going to go over. As we continue we are going to address the mark of the beast in the forehead, along with the number of the beast in relation to Goliath. We will also address the mark of God’s people with His name written in their foreheads in relation to David. On top of this we will speak about how this ties into the new testament. Prepare to hear wisdom, and understand this subject in a way you most likely haven’t heard before.

The Mark Of The Beast & The Number Of The Beast With Goliath

Devil In Dust 900x506

At first glance, it’s easy to overlook how the written word describes Goliath. Goliath had the mark of the beast because he wore the number of the beast. How does the mark of the beast and the number of the beast relate to Goliath?

In the book of Revelation, it mentions the number of the beast being six hundred and sixty six. That being said the scripture refers to Goliath as a champion of the Philistines. In other words, Goliath was a champion of the carnal flesh because he wore the number of the beast which is the number of a man. Goliath’s height was six cubits and span, he was armed with six pieces of armor and/or equipment, and his spearhead weighed six hundred shekels of armor. In other words, Goliath was armed with “666”.

When reading the bible’s description of Goliath it’s easy to just skim through it and have a quick concept of whats being addressed. In this portion of scripture, it doesn’t specifically define/highlight 666 in plain words as it does in Revelation about 666. However, it’s still clearly speaking about the number of the beast in relation to Goliath.

  • Six cubits and a span
  • Six pieces of armor and/or equipment
    • Helmet of brass upon his head
    • Armed with a coat of mail
    • Greaves of brass upon his legs
    • A target of brass between his shoulders
    • A staff/spear
    • A shield
  • The spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron

Goliath was equipped by Satan to fight against God. He was prepared to go into battle wearing the number of the beast. He was considered the champion of the flesh that was enmity against God. Since he was influenced by the beast, he was hostile towards God and the things of God. He would speak all kinds of nonsense according to the flesh and taunted Israel. In other words, taunted God’s people. That carnal voice and champion of the flesh caused Israel to be afraid and to stay inside their tents for 40 days in fear!

  • 1 Samuel 17:8-11 (KJV) And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me. 9 If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us. 10 And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together. 11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.
  • 1 Samuel 17:16 (KJV) And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.

Goliath wanted a battle to the death and taunted them to send a person to come fight him. God chose David who was anointed with the Holy Spirit to destroy that champion of the flesh. Before we get into the battle lets first take a look at the mark God placed upon David.

The Mark Of God With David

Dove On Horn 900x506

When reading about David the word doesn’t specifically use the term “mark” but the word does say anoint. So how did God mark David?

God anointed David with oil and the Holy Spirit came upon him. Anoint also means to rub or paint with oil according to Strong’s definition. Therefore, David was anointed, painted, or in other words marked by God. David was now marked by the Spirit of God. The Bible states God is Spirit. God, therefore, sent His Spirit which is the Holy Ghost upon David from that day forward.

  • 1 Samuel 16:1-13 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. 2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. 3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee. 4 And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably? 5 And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice. 6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’S anointed is before him. 7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 8 Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this. 9 Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this. 10 Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these. 11 And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. 12 And he sent, and brought him in.
  • John 4:24 (KJV) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:16 (KJV) Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Notice when God marked David it was not according to the flesh or according to what “man” may have chosen. Remember what “man” chose with the Philistines? They chose Goliath cause he looked and fought like a champion according to the carnal flesh. God chose David according to the Spirit based on what can’t be seen, the heart. David was a keeper of the sheep. God raised David when no one was looking while tending to the sheep. God didn’t choose him based on how he looked naturally speaking. God chose David, sanctified him based on the sacrifice, and anointed him with oil. David was marked with the Spirit of God!

Knowing all this it’s clear that the carnal man sees things differently than how God or born again believers see things. It’s clear Satan’s viewpoint is different from God’s viewpoint. The carnal viewpoint will never line up with the Spiritual viewpoint of God. The carnal flesh and Spirit are contrary to one another. God even tells born again believers to no longer see others from the view of carnal man according to the flesh. They are now supposed to see things by the Holy Spirit. This is exactly how David was about to address this situation with Goliath. He wasn’t looking at the battle or the enemy from a carnal perspective but rather from God’s perspective according to the Spirit.

  • Galatians 5:16-17 (KJV) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
  • Ephesians 2:6 (KJV) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
  • Psalms 32:8 (KJV) I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
  • 1 Corinthians 2:10-16 (KJV) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Let’s now take a look at the battle between the champion of the flesh. Who was Goliath. Who was contrary to David who was anointed with the Holy Spirit! God chose to guide David by the Spirit and reveal the outcome according to God’s way! Only one can prevail in this battle. God already knew the outcome and David knew he would be victorious because of the Holy Spirit.

God Delivers Goliath Into David's Hands & Beheads Goliath

Sword On Table 900x506

The reality is the battle with David against Goliath was a battle to the death. There could only be one victor. Goliath wore the mark of the beast while David was marked/anointed by God. Goliath was after the flesh because he served his master which is Satan. David was after the Spirit because he served his master which is God. A servant can’t serve two masters. The flesh and the Spirit are contrary to one another and this battle is no different. That being said look and see how Goliath was enmity towards God.

  • Luke 16:13 (KJV) No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Before we go further I want to highlight a few things here. Goliath was hostile towards God’s people, Israel. He would taunt them to send someone to come fight him. He set up a wager that he thought he could win. Goliath thought carnally and believed he would come out on top. Therefore he spoke the vain lie of his mind. The champion of the flesh spoke the things of the flesh and was experienced in the way the flesh does battle. When Israel was made aware of such a foe they were greatly afraid. The flesh fooled them and a feeling of fear overwhelmed them.

  • Romans 8:7 (KJV) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
  • 1 Samuel 17:16 (KJV) And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.
  • 1 Samuel 17:23-24 (KJV) And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.

Now before David showed up Goliath was doing this taunting for 40 days. This champion of the flesh caused Israel to stay in their camp/tents for 40 days in fear! Does that sound familiar today? That being said let’s look at one other portion of scripture to help us understand what God is about to remove in this battle.

I’m going to keep this brief so we can get back to David and Goliath. Throughout scripture, you will notice it speaks about 40 days and nights etc. Let’s take one other portion of scripture in reference to this to help us better understand this fight between David and Goliath. By knowing what God removed in that situation it will help us to understand what God is about to remove in this situation between David and Goliath.

In the days of Noah, God flooded the earth to destroy something specifically. When digging into that situation you will notice that 8 people entered into the ark. After the 7th day, which is the 8th day, the flood came. Now in Leviticus a male child is circumcised on the 8th day. So you are probably wondering, what does 8 have to do with this explanation? Just like 40 days and nights are used throughout scripture, 8 is also used throughout scripture. God didn’t do this by accident but worded it in such a way to help us understand the truth.

  • Genesis 6:5-8 (KJV) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
  • Genesis 6:9-14 (KJV) These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
  • Genesis 6:17-18 (KJV) And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. 18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
  • Genesis 7:4 (KJV) For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
  • Genesis 7:10 (KJV) And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
  • Leviticus 12:3 (KJV) And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

Do you notice what was removed in the day of Noah? Noah was safe because he found grace with God and was protected because he was within the ark. God established his covenant with Noah so he was fine according to God. Noah along with his wife, 3 children, and their wives was inside the ark. That’s 8 total. That being said a male child is circumcised on the 8th day. A thought may come trying to say, what’s that got to do with anything. Pay close attention now. What was removed from the male child on the 8th day? What was no longer a part of the male child on the 8th day? Notice through circumcision the flesh was removed from the male child. Now notice with Noah that the flood came on the 8th day. Now the rain was upon the earth forty days and nights. What did the flood remove and take away from Noah during that time? Do you see it yet? Notice the water removed and destroyed the corrupted carnal flesh which only thought evil continually and was enmity against God. However, Noah was inside the ark according to the covenant God made with him. The water was not a threat to Noah but rather guided him because of the ark. The water was a threat to the carnal flesh though. Interesting isn’t it? Do you see it? Remember this flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.

  • 1 Corinthians 15:50 (KJV) Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Now that we have a better understanding let’s get back to David and Goliath. Remember Goliath the champion of the flesh was hostile towards God and Israel for 40 days. This caused God’s people to stay in their camps or in other words, tents for 40 days. Goliath didn’t know that God was about to send a flood of water his way aka the Holy Spirit to remove his head.

Now the flesh caused God’s people to cower in fear of Goliath. They were afraid of the man who wore the number of the beast. However, David was anointed with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit isn’t a Spirit of fear! Therefore David wasn’t afraid.

  • 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

David had the Spirit of power, love, and of a sound mind on his side because of God. The Holy Spirit does not bow down to the things of the flesh. The Spirit of God is enmity against the works of the Devil and is about to put the champion of the flesh in its rightful place in this battle.

Now David’s father asks him to bring 10 loaves of bread and 10 cheeses to his brethren to eat.  When he arrived to help feed the brethren he happened to hear Goliath speaking all kinds of ridiculous things.

  • 1 Samuel 17:17-18 (KJV) And Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren; 18 And carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their thousand, and look how thy brethren fare, and take their pledge.
  • 1 Samuel 17:22-30 (KJV) And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren. 23 And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them. 24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid. 25 And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father’s house free in Israel. 26 And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? 27 And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him. 28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. 29 And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause? 30 And he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner. 31 And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him. 32 And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. 33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.

I want to point out a couple things about how the Spirit led David to the battle which will be a blessing. Notice David was honoring what his father Jesse asked him to do. Which was to feed the brethren who was in the battle against the enemy. Remember God wants to use born again believers to slay some giants when going to get or give lunch. Now Goliath caused the brethren to cower in fear for 40 days. When David shows up he basically speaks up according to the Spirit saying who is this uncircumcised Philistine think he is to defy the armies of the living God. David was speaking the truth by the Spirit but Israel was in the camp afraid. One of the brethren began to speak a lie trying to prevent David from doing what God sent him there to do. Eliab the eldest brother falsely accused David and his motive. However, notice David’s response. He basically ignored the false lie of the flesh that crept into the camp. Instead, he began focusing back on the battle and the reward for whoever defeats Goliath. The brethren received some natural food David brought but they would soon feast on spiritual food as well.

So when God tells a believer to do something according to the word, stay focused on the battle and the task at hand. Don’t let a brother in the Lord who was shaken by the flesh keep you from obeying what God said by the Spirit. In doing so God will feed the sheep when He reveals the outcome of the battle.

The word says David was told that whoever killed Goliath then the king would enrich that person with great riches, will give them his daughter and make their father’s house free in Israel. David now knew what his reward would be and was ready to fight that very day with Goliath! It didn’t take him 40 days to trust God. He was already ready the first day. He already knew the outcome before the battle ever took place. He knew that God would deliver him. However, the others in the camp didn’t think David could win the fight against this champion of the flesh.

  • 1 Samuel 17:34-37 (KJV) And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. 37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

The point is David wasn’t moved by the carnal voice. He was moved by the Spirit of God. Just like how God delivered and saved the sheep from the lion and the bear, God was about to deliver Israel from Goliath who obeyed Satan.

  • 1 Samuel 17:40-51 (KJV) And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine. 41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him. 42 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance. 43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. 45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands. 48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David. 51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

There are a couple of things that I want to highlight here specifically. Notice how David and Goliath were enmity towards each other. Goliath cursed David by “his gods”. David tells Goliath that the true living God will deliver Goliath into his hands. Goliath tells David that he will give David’s flesh unto the fowls of the air and the beasts of the field. David at one point replies back that he comes in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom Goliath defied and the Lord will deliver him into his hands. David goes on that he will smite Goliath, behead him, and will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines that day to the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the earth, so that all earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

Isn’t that interesting? They both spoke about destroying the other. They both spoke about feeding the flesh of the others to the fowl of the air and the beasts of the field or earth. They both said something similar but both were hostile toward the other. The spirit of the world and carnal flesh told Goliath to speak against God. The Holy Spirit told David to tell the champion of the flesh the truth and reality about what’s really about to take place. Goliath’s master, the Devil lied to him. God told the truth to David.

At one point David rushes towards the armies of the Philistine, gets a stone and smote the Philistine in his forehead, and slew him. He then runs and stands on top of Goliath and notice the enemy was now under his feet. David took the sword and cut off Goliath’s head. When the Philistines saw the champion of the flesh was dead, they fled in fear!

Isn’t that exciting and amazing! Look at what God did to that champion of the flesh that caused so much fear and trembling to Israel. God removed the head of that champion who defied the living God! David took the rock which hit the champion of the flesh right in the forehead. Then David took the sword and chopped off that liar’s head which had the mark of the beast and was speaking after his master, Satan! Now knowing all this, read what is written in Revelation.

  • Revelation 13:1-18 (KJV) And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
  • Revelation 19:11-21 (KJV) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Do you see the correlation between the two yet? David battling Goliath. Remember what happened before David fought Goliath? David slewed two beasts the bear and the lion to deliver the sheep. Remember Goliath by his false gods, trying to curse David. Goliath was powerful in the flesh and wore the number of the beast because the dragon gave him power. Therefore Goliath defied the only one true living God. Goliath chanted for someone to step up to the plate to make war with him and God answered the call by sending David who was anointed by the Holy Spirit. Goliath fought others and killed with the sword and it was appointed for him to die by the sword. Those who take the name of blasphemy in their forehead, the name and mark of the beast will lose against the living God. It is written the battle is the Lord’s. Remember what Goliath said about the fowls of the air? Remember what David said about the fowls of the air? Only one could do what they said in this situation. David took the rock and slew that man of the flesh right where in his forehead. The rock crushed right into that carnal mind of the flesh! Right, where Goliath was getting his battle instructions from the beast. David later chopped off his head with the sword. At the end of the battle fight between the two, who was fed to the fowls of the air and the beasts of the earth? Interesting isn’t it?

That being said, let’s take a look at Jesus Christ being crucified at Golgotha, which is interpreted the place of the skull.

Jesus Crucified At Golgatha

Human Skull Black Background 900x506

Jesus being the good shepard decided to lay down His life for the sheep. He decided to take on the battle against Satan and sin. Jesus decided that he would deliver the sheep from the mouth of the lion through His own sacrifice. No man could take His life. Jesus laid it down. Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil and that’s exactly what He did. Jesus was crucified at Golgatha which is the place of the skull. That’s no coincidence. Why would He be crucified at the place of a skull?

  • John 10:14-18 (KJV) I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
  • John 19:16-18 (KJV) Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away. 17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
  • Matthew 27:33 (KJV) And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
  • Mark 15:22 (KJV) And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.

Pay close attention. David served and was marked by God and the Holy Spirit was upon him. However, Goliath served and was marked by the Devil and he was filled with the spirit of the world. Goliath was appointed to be slain by the sword and also to lose his head. There are two types of “man” throughout the Bible. One man is of carnal flesh, with the spirit which takes after the corrupt seed. The other is a new man in Christ, which takes after the incorruptible seed. The carnal man has the spirit of the world, which is the spirit of disobedience and thinks carnally. The new man in Christ has the Holy Spirit and the mind of Christ to be instructed and thinks spiritually.

Jesus knew He had to come to destroy the works of the Devil and that means in all areas that became corrupt. Jesus understood that a man must born again to see the kingdom of God.

  • 1 John 3:8 (KJV) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • Romans 8:5-9 (KJV) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
  • John 3:3 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
  • Ephesians 2:1-7 (KJV) And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
  • 1 Peter 1:13-25 (KJV) Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the Devil but also to save the lost sheep. The Devil and man think carnally and had no understanding of what was about to take place on Golgotha, a place of the skull. They thought they could destroy Jesus there. What man didn’t realize is what Jesus would accomplish. The word of God manifested in the flesh and is life and Spirit. In other words, the sword of the Spirit was about to provide a way to decapitate the head of man, at the place of a skull, so a new man can be born again and joined with the Spirit of God.

They Shall See His Face & His Name Shall Be In Their Foreheads

Cross Ash On Forehead 900x506

Man who has the corruptible seed can not see or understand the things of God. However, those born of incorruptible seed who have the Spirit of God can see, know and understand the truth. The foolish think they can battle God and win. The foolish think carnally and thought they could kill Jesus by crucifying Him at the cross at Golgotha. The fool surely didn’t understand what would happen if Jesus laid down His life, because if they understood, they wouldn’t have crucified Him. Jesus won the battle. No man could kill Jesus, yet Jesus laid down His life for the sheep. In doing so Jesus was about to provide a way for that man of corruptible seed to be beheaded. This way God’s sheep can go away free as a new man in Christ. Jesus being the head of the body.

  • 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 (KJV) Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
  • 1 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
  • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
  • 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (KJV) Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

The carnal man with the spirit of the world can’t see or hear, the things which God prepared for them that love Him. Jesus said unless a man be born again they cannot see or enter into the kingdom of God. The word of God also says no man can see the face of God and live.

  • John 3:3-8 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
  • Exodus 33:19-23 (KJV) And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Now Moses under the old covenant got to see the back parts of God and heard the name of the Lord. He was standing upon a rock and God put him in a cleft of the rock. That being said, notice God said no man shall see his face and live. Praise be to God! What a mystery that God keeps hidden from the pride of man but reveals to those who are born again with the Holy Spirit!

  • Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
  • Job 14:1-22 (KJV) Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. 2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. 3 And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee? 4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. 5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass; 6 Turn from him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day. 7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. 8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; 9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. 10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he? 11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up: 12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. 13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! 14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. 15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands. 16 For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin? 17 My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity. 18 And surely the mountain falling cometh to nought, and the rock is removed out of his place. 19 The waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man. 20 Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth: thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away. 21 His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them. 22 But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within him shall mourn.

Do you see? It is appointed for man to die. Man cannot see the face of God and live. Jesus is the face of God. Even though that is the truth, some “see” Jesus according to man and say he is John the baptist, Elias, Jeremias etc. They see Jesus according to the perspective of a carnal man. However, some see Jesus according to the truth. They see Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God.

  • Matthew 16:13-17 (KJV) When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
  • John 6:68-69 (KJV) Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
  • Psalms 27:8 (KJV) When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
  • Psalms 80:3 (KJV) Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
  • Psalms 80:7 (KJV) Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
  • John 14:6-11 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
  • Matthew 5:8 (KJV) Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:6 (KJV) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Remember, no man can see the face of God and live. Jesus said unless a man loses his life, he can’t find it. Remember the stone that was slung into the champion of the flesh’s forehead? That stone was against Goliath, it was a stone that crushed the head of Goliath but saved David and the sheep. David took a sword that cut off that man’s head. The head that was crush in the forehead, a place of the skull. That being said Jesus is the face of God. Jesus is the Word manifested in the flesh.

  • 1 Samuel 17:49-51 (KJV) And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
  • Mark 8:34-37 (KJV) And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
  • Psalms 31:16-17 (KJV) Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake. 17 Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
  • Psalms 34:16 (KJV) The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
  • Matthew 21:42-44 (KJV) Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
  • Proverbs 11:29 (KJV) He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
  • Ephesians 2:11-22 (KJV) Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

The Word of God is Spirit. The sword of the Spirit is also the Word of God. When a man sees Jesus according to the truth and is born again, the old man dies off. That sword gets rid of that old man’s head. Jesus becomes the head of the body and He fills them with the Holy Ghost. Old things pass away and all things become new. As Proverbs 11:29 puts it, he that troubles his own house shall inherit the wind and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart. (Want to know more about Proverbs 11:29? • John 6:35-40 (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
  • John 6:61-65 (KJV) When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? 62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
  • Ephesians 6:17 (KJV) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
  • Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 (KJV) I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
  • Revelation 20:4 (KJV) And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
  • Titus 3:4-7 (KJV) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
  • Ephesians 5:23 (KJV) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
  • Romans 8:9-11 (KJV) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Do you see? Isn’t that some wonderful news! God saves His lost sheep while destroying the work of the Devil at the same time! That old man dies off. That old head that listened and agreed with the beast gets beheaded just like Goliath got beheaded! The born again believer takes on a new head with the name of God in the forehead! Jesus is the head of the new man. The name of Jesus is written in the forehead! The head of the body of Christ!

  • Revelation 22:3-4 (KJV) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

All that being said, let me be clear. The Devil and man thinks carnally and does not understand the things of God. If they understood they wouldn’t have crucified Jesus. So don’t be surprised that in Revelation the Devil and man beheads those who don’t take the mark of the beast. They can’t harm the born again believer because Jesus said so. The born again believers are alive and well because Jesus is the head of the body. That being said those who see the face of God and are born again before the day Jesus returns is safe and ok. However, those who don’t see the face of God before He returns because they reject the Truth is in trouble. That day when Jesus shows up it will be to late for them, they will taste/experience death. No man can see the face of God and live, and they chose to live in the flesh. Therefore they will go where the carnal flesh goes. Remember the outcome of what happened with David and Goliath. The enemy/Goliath who was marked by Satan lost and experienced death but David lived because God anointed him with the Holy Spirit. God put the enemy under David’s feet just like Jesus put the enemy under the born again believers feet.

  • Luke 10:18-20 (KJV) And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
  • Matthew 10:28 (KJV) And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
  • John 15:12-13 (KJV) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
